How We're Making Things Safer
As we’re looking around the Musicians Club we are thinking primarily about how we can make sure the club is as safe and clean for our members and staff as possible.
Today we’ve implemented a few changes around the club to help ensure these plans are put into action as soon as possible. Here’s what we’ve done;
More Space in the Bistro.
Social Distancing is very important and we couldn’t agree more. So we have taken half of our tables out of the bistro so we can increase the space between members dining with us.Partitioning the Bistro.
Even though we are allowed to open areas to an additional 100 patrons we want to prioritise safety of our members and staff. So we have partitioned the dining room to further increase our management of numbers within each area of the club. We feel this is the most responsible action we can take at this time to ensure those members who want to dine out with us will have sufficient space to feel comfortable and safe.
Personal Cutlery.
We’ve removed our dining room cutlery from all tables. Now when you order a meal our bistro staff will provide you with you own fresh cutlery so you can be assured that is it 100% fresh and clean.
We’ve done this with our self serve condiments as well. So if you would like some tomato sauce or similar, just ask our friendly bistro staff and they will happily bring you your own fresh serving.EFTPOS when possible.
We are vigilant with maintaining our staffs use of sanitises before, during and after service, however we all know money can be very unclean. When paying for meals in the bistro we ask that whenever possible please use Eftpos to Pay-And-Go or PayWave your purchase. This small change prevents our staff from unnecessarily handling cash or returning cash as change you as a customer.We’ve removed the Salad Buffet and Self Serve Soup.
We understand that this will be unpopular with some members however we believe it is a genuinely responsible step towards making our bistro as risk free as possible. Until further notice meals will be served with side salads as per the description on the menu.We’ve removed all self serve cups and glasses from the club.
Many members may not realise that we offer a Free Tea and Coffee station located next to our Members Swipe Terminal. We’ve chosen to reduce the risk of handling our coffee mugs and packet sweeteners by placing them behind the bar. Members are still encouraged to enjoy our free tea and coffee station, we simply ask you to collect a fresh coffee mug from the bar staff.Communal Water Jugs and Glasses have been removed.
Similar to our Tea and Coffee station we’ve chosen to provide our members with free water on request in fresh clean glasses and drawn cold directly from our bar to help prevent any unnecessary risks.Increased Cleaning and Sanitising.
We’ve increased our cleaning schedule to include Before, During and After each service. We are cleaning with the highest quality disinfectants to ensure the safest possible environments for our members. This is not exclusive to our Bistro. Our staff are wiping down chairs, doors, counter tops and high traffic areas on an hourly basis or when needed including our entire gaming lounge ensuring it is fully sanitised hourly.Our Members Help.
Finally we are asking our members to help us keep the musicians club safe for all members by being vigilant of their own personal hygiene. Use our hand sanitiser located around the club to ensure your hands a clean, refrain from attending the club if you are unwell or have come into contact with someone who is unwell and most importantly please understand the changes we are making are for the safety of all our members and staff.
We would love to hear your thoughts on these changes. Help us provide a safe and fun environment. If you see something that concerns you please let us know so we can take it on board and find a solution.
