LETTER FROM THE MANAGER

Dear Members,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that the Broken Hill Musicians Club will be temporarily closed for all business effective Midday March 23 2020.

Due to the Federal Governments implementation of Stage 1 Lock Down restrictions all Clubs in Australia must suspend trade indefinitely as of 12PM Monday 23 March 2020.

I have made the decision to open the club for these last 2 hours as we have many in our community that may not see this notice online.

This is a dark time for Australia and the world. We face a terrible enemy in COVID 19, however I choose to see the positive sides of these events in that this closure means more protection for our Staff and Members as the virus spreads.

I want to apologise to our staff for this situation we now find ourselves in, myself included. The management team and I are prepared to offer any support within our power to those effected.

To our members, thank you for your wonderful support and understanding. The comments and feedback we have received throughout the past few weeks from our members has made this process immeasurable easier knowing that you all understand the situation and fully support us.

To our suppliers locally and nationally, thank you for your understanding. I know as well as you the far reaching impacts this action will have on more than just those businesses forced to close and all I can say at this point is that I wish you well in the months ahead and I look forward to the time that we can resume trade with you.

 Until further notice the Broken Hill Musicians Club
will be closed in all capacities.

This is not good bye this is just see you later. The Broken Hill Musicians Club will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so. We look forward to seeing all our members, staff and suppliers safe and sound at the end of this health crisis.
