WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS

DON'T PANIC! We aren't anywhere near closed.

We've just become a little more exclusive for a while.

With the Australian Federal Government introducing laws that reduce indoor gathering to no more than 100 people we've had to make a few little changes so that we could;

  • comply with the law,

  • make sure all our members and staff stay safe and healthy and

  • make sure the promotions we run for our members each week remain fair to everyone.

Here's what's open:

Everything is normal.

We're opening 10am everyday like we always have. The Bistro is open 7 days a week Lunch and Dinner. Our TAB & KENO are open and all other lights and jingles are on just like every other day and that's not about to change.

What has had to change?

  1. So we've had to cancel all our sporting events in the club. Since we can't predict how many people could be in the club when the sporting teams arrive and we aren't going to ask Members to leave, we simply can't host these events until the risks are gone and the laws changed.

  2. We've had to Postpone Promotions, since we can only have 100 members in the club at anytime that would mean more than 5,000 other members would always miss out even if they really wanted to be here and that's just not fair.

    Remember Every member is platinum at the Musos.

  3. We've made the decision to postpone the Meat Draws. As you know, if you attend our meat draws, the bar is almost always full for a draw, this doesn't count the other areas of the club such as the Bistro which is always open when we hold a draw or our gaming lounge. With a limit of only 100 members allowed in the club, we would face tuning away members from the club three times a week and this is something we really aren't looking forward to.

  4. We've also had to make the decision for the time being to cancel our bands. As you know we get in some really big bands and they costs some really big bucks. If we can't get 500 people in here like St Pats Weekend then its not going to be the same.

So yeah its been a super tough day with some big changes to make. We know that there will likely be more changes to come as we all fight our way though this tough time, but we're all in it together.

With a limit of 100 Members allowed in any pub or club in town we ask that if you want to spend some time here, please come down, and if you can’t get in because we’ve reached the 100 person limit, try one of the other great venues in town.

We like to think things are very much the same, except the Musicians Club is just a little more exclusive for a while.
